Graveside services for Layne Virginia Young, 23, of Sulphur Springs will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, July 18, 2020 at Old Tarrant Cemetery with Rev. Steve Thompson. Pallbearers will be Tyler Gaines, Tyler Young, Cody Aaron, Casey Aaron, Jimmy Riley and Clint Williams. There will be a come and go visitation 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Friday, July 17, 2020 at West Oaks Funeral Home.
Layne passed away Sunday, July 12, 2020 at Children’s Medical City in Dallas.
She was born Feb. 24, 1997 in Plano, Texas. Her favorite color was purple, and her favorite animal was a pig. She also had a baby doll named Austin.
She is survived by her parents, Lance and Angela Young; biological mother, April Feagins of Blue Ridge; brothers, Tyler Gaines and wife Makala, and Tyler Young; sister, Chelsea Young; niece, Rae ’Leigh; grandparents, Ronny and Delores Young, and Kim and Larry Aaron; and great-grandmother, Joyce Young.
