Kenneth Ramsey

Funeral service for Kenneth Ramsey, age 72, of Sulphur Springs, will be held at 11 a.m, Monday, August 8, 2022, at Wilson-Orwosky Chapel in Emory. Interment will follow at Old Shirley Cemetery.

Visitation will be held Sunday, August 7, 2022, at Wilson-Orwosky Chapel, 6-8 pm.

Kenneth was born on March 29, 1950, to Henry Ramsey and Mary Defer Ramsey in Dallas, Texas. He passed on August 4, 2022, in Tyler, Texas.

He married Cindy Ramsey on July 20, 1985. He was Vietnam Veteran and Post Office Supervisor.

He was a member of Smyrna Baptist Church and Patriot Guard. He enjoyed his family, motorcycles, hunting and fishing. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his wife, Cindy Ramsey; daughters, Jennifer Bruhn and husband Cody Malone, Jessica Claxton and husband Wendell; son, Raymond Ramsey; brothers, Bruce Ramsey and wife Joy, Donnie Ramsey and wife Felicia, Jamie Ramsey and wife Donna, David Ramsey and wife Antonette; sisters,

Pam Pruitt and husband Keith, Lynn Peek, Gina Smith, Tammie Cruz and husband Zach and his beloved dog, Precious; grandchildren, Wesley Ewing, Bradley Ewing, Cason Claxton, Cambree Claxton and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents.
