Jolynn Elliott Ray, 72, of Clermont, Florida, previously of Sulphur Springs, Texas, passed away Oct. 26, 2019.
She was born Jan. 28, 1947 in Lubbock, Texas to Edwin and Anna Belle Elliott.
Mrs. Ray graduated from Sulphur Springs High School in Sulphur Springs, Texas. She became a registered nurse and loved caring for her patients for over 35 years.
She is survived by her loving husband, Charles Ray of Clermont, Florida; son, Steven Gregg of Celebration, Florida; daughter, Amy Gregg Ayars and husband Tom Aayars of Clermont, Florida; sister, Luanne Morgan of Sulphur Springs; niece, Angela Mobley of Sulphur Springs; grandchildren, Holly Gregg, Tamara Stracener, Tiffany Robinson, Thomas Ayars and Alexandra Ayars; eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Edwin Elliott and Anna Belle Elliott.
A memorial will be held in Sulphur Springs at a future date to be determined.
