Funeral service for Jack Vaughn, 73, of Sulphur Springs was held 3 p.m. Friday, May 24, 2019 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Chapel with Buddy Wiggins officiating. Interment followed at Miller Grove Cemetery with Logan Vaughn, Christopher Williams and Steven Ahrens serving as pallbearers. Visitation was held two hours before the service.
Mr. Vaughn passed away on Tuesday, May 21, 2019 at his residence.
Jack was born on Oct. 13, 1945 in McKinney, Texas to Roy and Dovie Vaughn. He worked as a maintenance technician for Hunt Regional Medical Center.
He is survived by his sons, Logan Vaughn, Jack Vaughn Jr. and wife Stephanie, and Jared Vaughn and wife Sarah; daughter, Laurie Vaughn Mize and husband Terry; brothers, Charlie Vaughn and wife Sue, and Roy Vaughn Jr. and wife Jean; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Jack was preceded in death by his parents.
