Gerald Joe Coke of Rocksprings passed away Sept. 30, 2019 at the age of 90. He was born in Hopkins County, Texas on April 6, 1929 to Walter Earl and Myrtle Virginia Jones Coke. He married Rose Mary Stubblefield.
Mr. Coke is survived by his children, Jerry Coke and wife Cristina of Rock-springs, and Cindy Edmonds and husband Bryce of Ben Wheeler; sister, Joyce Coke; brother, Danny Coke; grandchildren, Jody Coke and wife Jennifer, Joshua Coke, Amber Garamillo and husband Mike, Heather Ortiz and husband Joe, and Stephanie Winnchester and husband Joe; 11 great-grandchildren; and five great-great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Rose Mary Coke; parents, Walter and Myrtle Coke; and sisters, Shirley Coke and Billie Hill.
Visitation will be 1-3 p.m. Friday Oct. 4, 2019 in the Fredericksburg Funeral Home. Funeral service will be at 3 p.m. Friday, Oct. 4, 2019 in the Fredericksburg Funeral Home. Interment will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday Oct. 5, 2019 in the Sparkman Hillcrest Cemetery in Dallas.
