George Wesley Cox, 94, born Oct. 8, 1924 in May-field, Oklahoma, passed away July 30, 2019.
Mr. Cox was raised in Oklahoma and California. After high school, he studied forestry and retired from Southern California Edison Forestry Division at Shaver Lake in 1985.
He was preceded in death by first wife Zeta and daughter Caroline.
He is survived by his wife, Mary E. Cox; children, Jerry, Sheila, Jannette, Kimberly, Pamela and Aaron; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Mr. Cox will be laid to rest in a private family ceremony in Sulphur Springs, Texas.
