Georganna Edwards

Funeral service for Georganna Edwards, 85, of Lawton, Okla., will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 4, 2021 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow at Richland Cemetery. Visitation will be held Wednesday, March 3, 2021 6-8 p.m. Mrs. Edwards passed away Feb. 27, 2021 at her residence is Oklahoma.

Georganna was born March 7, 1935 in Velma, Okla. to Alvin and Eva (Dodson) Callendar. She married to Billy Edwards Jan. 25, 1952 in Big Springs, Texas. Georganna was a housewife. She was Baptized at the Church of Christ and was of the Christian faith.

She is survived by her daughters, Janis Clark, Debra Bowman, Leanna Palmer, and husband Joe, and Bobbie Edwards; sons, James R. Edwards and Randy Joe Edwards and wife, Elizabeth; grandchildren, Kimberly Clark and husband Larry, Dawn Tanner and husband Danny, Sheila Levick and husband Travis, Catherine Bowman, Justin Joslin, Jeanne Vanderburg and wife Tera, Terrie Edwards and husband John, James Edwards, Gracie Whitmire, Nathaniel Edwards, Alishia Gonzales and husband Demetrio, Amanda Roegels and husband Ian and Lindsey Edwards; 30 great-grandchildren; and 14 great-great-granchildren.

Georganna was preceded in death by parents; husband; and eight brothers and sisters.

Arrangements are under the direction of Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.
