Funeral service for Earl Nichols, 85, of Como will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 5, 2020 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Chapel with Bro. William Nathan Gaddis and Mother Barbara Kelton officiating. Interment will follow at Union Cemetery with Bryan Nichols, Bo Dunlap, Richard Taylor, Mark Friddle, Brandon Woodard and Henry “Buck” Nichols serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be held 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 5, 2020 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Chapel.
Lewis Earl was born Nov. 15, 1934 in Wood County to Irvin and Connie Nichols. He married Kay Nichols, and she preceded him in death in 2000. Earl was a dairy farmer and rancher.
Earl is survived by his daughter, Kathy Nichols; son, Donald Nichols; grandchildren, Sandy Nichols, Bryan Nichols, Kimmie Fisher, Missa Hall; seven great-grandchildren; brother, William Nichols; and sister, Rose Mary “Mickey” Beaudin.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; son, Tony Nichols; and brothers, Derwood Nichols and Henry Nichols
