Donnie Wayne Momon Sr.

Donnie Wayne Momon Sr., 80, of Saltillo, Texas passed away Sunday, Sept. 13, 2020 in Sulphur Springs, Texas. 

There will be a memorial service at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 19, 2020 at Harvey Funeral Home, 409 North Kaufman St. in Mount Vernon. There will be no visitation.

Donnie was born in Hope, Ark., June 12, 1940 to Owen Franklin and Ora "Bittles" Momon. He married Shirley Ann Underwood. He was an owner and operator of his trucking company. 

He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Momon; son, Leo Momon; parents, Owen and Ora Momon; brothers, Owen Trennon Momon and Luther Mace Momon; stepdaughter, Cora A. Shipman; and grandchild, Grey Momon. 

Donnie is survived by his daughters, Terry A. Brown of Elizabethtown, Ky. and April L. Momon of Texarkana, Ark.; sons, Donnie W. Momon Jr. of Fort Worth, Texas, Damon S. Momon and wife Kelly of Grand Saline, Texas, Stuart "Tony" A. Momon I and wife April of Saltillo, Texas, Leldon 0. Momon Sr. and wife Linda of Winnsboro, Texas; stepchildren, Phillip Harrison and wife Kerrie of Spencerville, Ohio; grandchildren, Vanessa, Samantha, Michael, Trevor, Hope, Dallas, Lauren, Griffyn, Grant, TJ, Tucker, Leiden Jr., Sumer, Wesley, James, DJ and Derek; and many great grandchildren.
