Conchita McDaniel, 91, of Canton passed away March 21, 2019 at UT Health East Texas, Tyler.
Conchita was born April 23, 1927 in Arecibo, Puerto Rico to Epifania Morales Maldonado. She married John McDaniel, who preceded her in death. She worked as a cook at Burton’s for many years. Conchita loved to garden, do crosswords and watch her favorite soap opera “The Young and The Restless”.
She is survived by her sons, Tommy McDaniel of Canton, Steven Robertson of San Francisco, California, Walter Robertson of Duncanville, Texas, Gary Robertson and wife Penny of Duncanville, Texas, Richard McDaniel of Woodland Springs, Colorado, and Jessie McDaniel and wife Michelle of Pine Forest, Texas; grandchildren, Mitchell, Stephanie, John Phillip, Leslie, Connie, Theresa, Priscilla, Alicia, Ricky Jr., Misti, Amy, Shawn, Tommy Jr., Elvis, Tony, Brian, Amanda, Robert, Johnny Jr. and John Jr.; more than 40 great-grandchildren; sister, Dionicia Reyes Picon; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Conchita was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John; sons, Johnny McDaniel Jr. and Chester McDaniel; and brothers, Juan Soto Morales and Lucas Morales.
