Graveside service for Mrs. Avis Wyatt Kerns, 85, of Cumby, Texas, will be held at 11a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 22, 2020 at Seymore Cemetery with Bro. Terry Bolton officiating. There will be no formal visitation.
Mrs. Kerns passed away Thursday, Sept. 17, 2020 at her residence.
Avis was born in Yantis, Texas, March 22, 1935, the daughter of JB Wyatt and Mattie Lee Landrum Wyatt. She was a security guard in the banking industry. She married Ronald Kerns, and he preceded her in death.
Survivors include sons Frank Kerns of Franklin, N.C., and Bennie Kerns of Cumby, Texas; daughter Leta Moore of Ogden, Utah; brother Cecil Wyatt and Jo of Tyler, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ronald; and daughter, Elizabeth Sexton.
