Youth orchestra plans concert to rock the house

The Sulphur Springs Youth Orchestra will be performing their annual Christmas concert this week. "Our SSYO kids have been working to bring a fun, family friendly concert to our community. If you enjoy old school rock, this concert is for you!" said Suzzanna Herrera, director of the program.

The group will have prepared selections from the classic and popular groups The Beatles, Queen, ABBA and more.

This nonformal event that is free to the public.

The concert will be held at 6:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 22 at Shannon Oaks Church, 1113 Shannon Road east in Sulphur Springs. For more information, visit the event's Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/events/1371118099723682/.
