Yantis celebrates valedictorian

Yantis ISD is proud to declare their valedictorian for the 2020 senior class. Yantis's valedictorian is Jenna Matte Haney. Daughter of Jodi and Matt Cox and Doug and Christi Tatman, Jenna has taken 34 hours of college credits and has been involved in Beta, 4-H, FFA, student council, GT, UIL, cheerleading, and FCCLA.

Jenna has been accepted into the honors college at Tarleton State University, where she will be pursuing a degree in biomedical sciences. After her bachelor's degree, she would like to pursue a medical degree in obstetrics and gynecology and ultimately use the degree to serve in the military reserves.
