Debbie Burke (left) and Hillis Bass read the Christmas wish lists hanging from the Golden Agers Gift Tree of homebound senior citizens. Homebound senior citizens were asked to make wish lists of some things they would like to receive for Christmas this year, and those lists are now hung on the Sulphur Springs Senior Center’s Christmas tree. Anyone wanting to pick a list and go shopping is welcome to do just that. Gifts should be wrapped and delivered to the Center between Monday, Dec. 2 and Friday Dec. 13. For more information about the Golden Agers Gift Tree, contact Karon Weatherman, executive director for the Center, at 903-885-1661 or mealaday@yahoo.com or stop by the Center at 150 Martin Luther King Jr. Drive.
