Break-ins, vehicle and property crimes that hit Sulphur Springs in September continue into October, according to police incident reports. Incident reports are those with no corresponding arrest report.

On Oct. 1, a deadly conduct discharge of a firearm was reported in the 600 block of Woodlawn at approximately 9:40 p.m. The improper removal of the weapon’s serial number was also reported.

Also Oct. 1, a motorcycle was reported stolen from the 300 block of Hillcrest Drive at approximately 3 a.m.

On Oct. 2, the Hopkins County Courthouse reported a theft of freon at approximately 7:23 a.m.

On Oct. 5, the Hopkins County Sheriff’s Office reported the theft of a yellow vacuum trailer from Fullers Towing. The trailer was later located, HCSO stated.

Also on Oct. 5, police received a report of a burglary of a building in the 1100 block of Church Street at approximately 5:32 p.m. with several personal items taken.

On Oct. 6 a burglary of a habitation was reported in the 200 block of Craig Street at approximately 4 p.m.
