Sulphur Bluff ISD is celebrating Homecoming all this week, and the following are bios on the King and Queen nominees.

QUEEN NOMINEES

Alley Collett, 18, is the daughter of Zach and Lindsey Collett. She is the president of Sulphur Bluff ’s Beta Club chapter and participates in volleyball, basketball, cross country and track. When she’s not in school sports, she plays volleyball for the club Texas Invasion in Greenville or Dallas. She plans on attending Texas Christian University or Texas A&M - Commerce and intends to have a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology in two years to further a career in athletic training or coaching.

Trinity Roberts, 17, is the daughter of Blaine and Sarah Roberts. She is a Beta Club officer and is involved in FFA. She like reading, watching movies and hanging out with family and friends. She plans to attend Texas A&M University - Commerce and intends to earn a Bachelor of Science in nursing.

Jade Wade, 17, is the daughter of Jerry and Leticia Wade. She is the FCCLA president and is a member of FFA, Beta Club and the Hopkins County Chamber of Commerce’s leadership team. She is also active is UIL, cross country, volleyball, basketball and track. She is undecided on a specific college but plans to attend a Christian college to become an registered nurse and to earn a Bachelor of Science in nursing.

KING NOMINEES

Brandon Branom, 17, is the son of Bridget Moore and Bryan Branom. He is involved in sports, Beta Club and UIL. He plans on attending Texas A&M - Commerce to earn a college degree and have a stable and successful career.

Montana Hurley, 18, is the son of Toney and Nikki Hurley. He is involved in sports and spends most of his time working during the summer. He plans on attending Texas A&M - Commerce to earn a degree and enter into the Game Wardens Academy. Shane Johnson, 17,

Shane Johnson, 17, is the son of Micah and Melissa Johnson. He is involved in basketball, UIL, Beta Club and FFA and enjoys reading. He plans on attending Texas A&M - Commerce to pursue a degree in finance and wants to be a productive and patriotic citizen.

The varsity basketball teams face Bloomburg in their Homecoming game, and the varsity girls play at 5:30 p.m. in the new gym with the boys to follow. Homecoming festivities take place during halftime of the boys game.
