Sulphur Bluff celebrates valedictorian and salutatorian

Ryan Vance, Diana Rosas honored


Sulphur Bluff ISD is proud to declare their valedictorian and salutatorian for the 2020 senior class. Sulphur Bluff's valedictorian is Ryan Vance and Diana Rosas is the salutatorian.

Ryan Neal Vance, 17, of Dike was named the Sulphur Bluff ISD Valedictorian for 2020. He is the son of John and Cathy Vance, and is the senior class president, FFA president, Beta president, and is involved in Hopkins County Youth Leadership, basketball, baseball, track and golf. Ryan graduates with a 4.72 GPA on the distinguished degree plan and plans to attend Texas A&M University in College Station to pursue a bachelor’s degree in architectural engineering to become an architect.

Diana Yesenia Rosas, 18, of Sulphur Bluff was named the Sulphur Bluff ISD Salutatorian for 2020. She is the daughter of Maria and Saul Rosas. Diana was involved in FFA, FCCLA, Beta, Teen Court, Alliance Bank Leadership, and was a volunteer at Hoop Dreams special needs league. She will attend Paris Junior College to work towards a degree in business management.
