Students inducted into honor society

The Sulphur Springs High School National Technical Honor Society (NTHS) Geral Kennedy Chapter held its induction ceremony Monday, Jan. 27 in the SSHS cafeteria.

Nineteen returning members were recognized and seventeen new students were inducted at the ceremony.

New members included: Norrisa Lane, Daniel Soto, Cameron Beard, Raydon McCormack, Caroline Goggans, Koben Wyly, Harleigh Stegient, Kerie Wright, Rorie Young, Makayla Pullen, Lizbeth Alvarez, Savannah Allen, Miranda Baugh and Jasmin Vargas.

Returning members included: Alex Post, Adam Ost, William Reagan Kesting, Cameron Kaufert, Erika Van Bentham, Campbell Cody, Shelby Aulsbrook, Allison Thurman, Meredith Hooten, Mattingly Thurman, Macie Moore, Ashley Noe and Alivia Walker.

The mission of the National Technical Honor Society is to honor student achievement and leadership, promote educational excellence, award scholarships and enhance career opportunities for the members.
