Sulphur Springs High School theater students will present their annual (non-Christmas-y) Christmas show for one day only this year.

“Every year, one of our audience’s favorite shows is our December advanced class production,” said Lesha Woodard, director of theater at the school.

This year, students will be performing The Complete Works of William Shakespeare, abridged.

In this comedy, seniors Rachel Bramlett and Chase Berry, juniors Rorie Young and Hannah Shultz, and sophomores Caleb Talmage, Lucy Braddy, AllieGrace Woodard and Brandon Williams work together to perform all of Shakespeare’s 97 plays in an hour and a half.

“Join us for this silly, slapstick, side-splitting homage to the Bard and spice up your holidays with some humor,” Woodard said. “People who love Shakespeare will enjoy it. People who hate Shakespeare will enjoy it.”

SSHS theater students will present The Complete Works of William Shakespeare, abridged at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 14 at theSulphur Springs High School Auditorium. Tickets are $3 or three canned goods at the door.
