SSHS names homecoming court

The Sulphur Springs High School 2020 homecoming court gathered Thursday afternoon for portraits in the garden at Sulphur Springs High School. Nominees for the 2020 senior homecoming queen are: (from left, back row) Alexis Franks, Alondra Barcenas, Galilea Sosa, Lizbeth Alvarez, Lexi Colley, Rorie Young, (front row) McKayla McGregor, Kerie Wright, Ella Moore and Emma Eddins. Queen will be crowned during a pep rally at 8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 8 at Gerald Prim Stadium instead of at the scheduled football game Friday evening due to COVID-19 precautions.
