Rehab continues on SH 11

PARIS—Work planned in Hopkins County during the week of May 18 was announced late Friday afternoon by the Paris District of the Texas Department of Transportation. These schedules are subject to change due to weather conditions, equipment failure or other unforeseen issues. 

  • From State Highway 19 to White Oak Creek on State Highway 11, crews will perform road rehabilitation operations, and from 1.5 miles east of FM 3134 to 0.82 miles east of FM 2653, crews will perform milling operations.
  • On Interstate 30 through Hopkins and Franklin counties from the Titus County line to the Hunt County line, crews will upgrade metal beam guard fences.

Motorists are advised to remain alert and pay special attention to all signs, barricades and traffic controls, and reduce their speed as they approach and travel through work zones. They should also avoid distractions such as cell phones, eating, drinking, or car audio or navigation systems.
