Proceeds go toward new substation

North Hopkins-South Sulphur Volunteer Fire Departments are holding their annual photo fundraiser to benefit a new substation for the North Hopkins area.
VFD representatives will be going door-to-door for the next couple of weeks on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays throughout the north Hopkins County area, wearing VFD T-shirts and caps, to take orders for photo sessions. The sessions will be set up for a later date and may be one person or a whole family and the family pet.
Families will then have the opportunity to choose one or more portraits from a set of proofs. For each $40 donation, the family will receive one 8-inch by 10-inch portrait; additional prints will cost a little extra.
The NHVFD will receive the largest percentage of the proceeds for their building fund.
