Miracle Ramon, Megan Easley named

North Hopkins ISD valedictorian for 2020 is Miracle Ramon of Sulphur Springs. She is the daughter of Shirley Miller of Sulphur Springs. Ramon has two siblings: Stephanie Winchester, 42, and Wessa Miller, 16, and a nephew, Koltain Winchester, 15.

Her favorite classes are English and history in high school. She loved “hanging with my friends” and her junior prom.

She has already earned an associate’s degree from Paris Junior College and is enrolled in the pre-nursing program at Texas A&M University-Commerce. She plans to become a registered nurse, and then pursue career advancement at Texas Wesleyan to become a certified nurse registered anesthetist.

Roman said her secret to academic success “was really studying and pushing myself to improve. Determination and hard work are the main ingredients to meet success, and I believe those two ingredients have helped me be where I am today.”

She enjoys playing basketball and reading. She was active in FCCLA, BETA and yearbook in high school. She said she also enjoys spending time with family and friends.

Megan Easley, 18, of Dike is North Hopkins salutatorian for the graduating class of 2020. She is the daughter of Doddie Easley and Lee Easley and has two siblings, Denise, 18, and Justin, 27.
