In the most recent updates since the Sulphur Springs News-Telegram was purchased by Hopkins County Publishing, LLC in May, the newspaper has launched a new website with a fresh look and more features for its readers.

“We are excited to bring ssnewstelegram.com to our readers,” said News-Telegram publisher Don Moore. “It is easier to use and offers readers more options and easier access for our readers and advertisers. We have thousands of readers, and Hopkins County residents can count on us on breaking news 24/7 from our team of journalists.”

While the website developers are still working out a few quirks, the new site at ssnewstelegram.com is up and ready for Hopkins County readers to see what new features are available.

First is the free content, which includes advice, guest columnists, some opinions, state and national news, Sulphur Graphs, obituaries, online polls and special publications, including the 2019 Graduation and this week’s 2019 Dairy Festival sections that are currently available.

Visitors to the website can now submit their own news tips, announcements and letters to the editor under “Tell us your news,” which will be sent directly to the newsroom of the News-Telegram.

Subscribers to the News-Telegram can sign up for access to all premium content prepared by the local news staff for and about Hopkins County communities.

For current subscribers to the print and online editions of the News-Telegram, to access all the premium features on the website, readers can click on the E-EDITION link at the top right of the browser window, and then click on “Already a print subscriber?” The reader will be directed to a “Subscription Verification” page to set up an online account.

The newspaper’s customer service staff will be notified to approve all current subscribers’ information. In the meantime, subscribers who fill out the form will have unlimited access to all premium content for up to a week.

Current subscribers will also be able to renew their subscriptions online, a new and convenient feature of the redesigned News-Telegram website.

Anyone not a subscriber to the News-Telegram will have the opportunity to sign up with a subscription to access premium content with multiple options available:
