The 11th annual Hopkins County Turkey Trot benefitting the Journey Road Ministries took place Thanksgiving morning with over 100 community members gathering to run or walk a five or ten kilometer run.

5K: Male Overall: Landon Thornton took first place with a time of 17:51.16, second place was Joel Leake with a time of 19:44.15 and Bradley Nordin place third with a time of 21:07.89

Female Overall: First place was Ana Servin with a time of 19:43.13, Peyton Howard took second place with a time of 23:27.91, and third place was Haylee Shultz with a time of 24:24.43

10 K: Male Overall: Lance Davis with a time of 39:16.42 took first place, Second Place was Tanner Ramirez with a time of 40:01.34, and Jose Mejia took third with a time of 41:03.54

Female Overall: Madeline Stephens place First with a time of 46:52.39, Micah Leake place second with a time of 48:18.20 and Makenzie Glenn placed third with a time of 51:02.28.
