PITTSBURG — The East Texas Junior Golf Tour (ETJGT) headed to Princedale Country Club in Pittsburg Thursday. It was a beautiful day with ideal conditions, including 80-degree weather with a few clouds and a small breeze.

In the 11 & Under Division, Alex Hammonds of Atlanta took top honors, shooting a two under par 34 with Ryan Weaver of Mount Pleasant winning the sudden death playoff for second place over Connor Castro of Gilmer for third, each shooting a 44.

In the Junior Girls Division, Kylee Strickland of Mount Pleasant continued her dominance, winning her third event out of three entries, shooting a 100. Closely behind her was Adie Rosewell of Mount Pleasant with a 104 and Kenlie Mayben of Pittsburg, shooting a 114.

In the Junior Boys Division, it came down to the last hole to determine a winner. With the upper hand, Isaac Stanley of Sulphur Springs shot a 105, edging out Landon Weaver of Mount Pleasant’s 106. Charlie Yantis of Pittsburg rounded out the top three in third with a 129.

In the High School Girls Division, Katie Hart of Mount Pleasant carded a 86 to win followed by Mykylie Meador of Sulphur Springs with 103 and Reese Ball of Mount Pleasant with 110.

The High School Boys Division saw three shots separating first from fifth. Cole Turner of Redwater and Brady Sisk of Mount Pleasant tied for first, both carding 79. In the Sudden Death Play, Cole Turner came out on top to claim first. Matthew Peterson of Mount Pleasant shot an 80 to finish in third place.
