“During the pursuit, the vehicle traveled at speeds over 120 mph on wet roads. I maintained visual on the vehicle, as we traveling into Sulphur Springs city limits,” the deputy wrote.

The driver then allegedly turned onto SH 67 from Hillcrest Drive, with the SSPD and the deputy following. The deputy reported the driver was headed toward Interstate 30, still going over 100 mph.

“As [the driver] traveled south over the Highway 67/IH-30 overpass, he failed to navigate the sharp corner and crashed into the tree line just south of the service road connector,” the deputy wrote.

The man is reported to have exited the vehicle and was taken into custody.
