Girl hit near Dairy Queen had minor injuries

A young girl struck by a vehicle on Main Street in Sulphur Springs near Dairy Queen had minor injuries, according to Sulphur Springs Police Chief Jason Ricketson.

At 7 p.m. exactly, police received the call about the accident, according to 911 call logs. The girl was transported to the hospital, and Sgt. Josh Shufeldt and Lt. Eddie Moon continue to investigate, Ricketson said.
