Multi-award-winning author Dana Wayne — pen name for Nancy Hudgins — will present “Making 2020 Crystal Clear” at the Northeast Texas Writers Organization on Thursday, Jan. 9 at Herschel’s Restaurant in Mount Pleasant, beginning at 6 p.m.
According to Wayne, “We all struggle with making time to write, market and promote our work. Let’s face it: Marketing alone is a full-time job that most of us don’t have full time for. So here are 10 tips for revitalizing your writing and marketing plan for 2020. I’ll also share some suggestions for ways to market outside your area without spending a ton of money.”
Wayne resides in East Texas with her husband (and biggest fan) a Calico cat, three children and four grandchildren. She routinely speaks to books clubs, services organizations, writers groups and other organizations on writing and publishing.
The meeting will be preceded by a 4 p.m. critique session. Both sessions are free and open to all writers, readers, editors and book illustrators.
