CUMBY—The City of Cumby offices will be closed from Aug. 27 to Sept. 10 due to exposure to COVID-19, according to the city’s social media.

Those wishing to call the city will not find municipal offices staffed and should visit the city website for emergency help, the city said.

Citizens have expressed concerns with water leaks and billing on the city’s social media page. Council member Julie Morris notified citizens they would get their water bills, but “they were not sure when.” Morris also stated there were no late fees.

The city maintenance staff is not quarantining and should be able to respond to water leaks, Morris stated on social media.
