Monday

• Christian Initiation Sessions are held Mondays at 6:30 p.m. at St. James Catholic Church, 297 Texas St. All are invited to “come and increase your knowledge about God and the Catholic Church.” For more information, call Mary Besze at 903-588-5652.

Tuesday

• League Street Church of Christ Benevolence Clothing Room is open 9:30-11:30 a.m. on Tuesdays. The church is at 1100 League St. south in Sulphur Springs. For easier access, there is parking in the back. For more information, call 903-885-1531.

• The Lord’s Work Food Pantry will be open 9 a.m. to noon on the second and fourth Tuesdays of the month in the Resource Center at Color Blind/ Anointed Ministries, 210 Black Oak Road in Como to assist people in the 75431 and 75471 zip codes who are in need of help with food. Wednesday

• Dinner Bell Ministry offers free lunches 11:45 a.m.-1 p.m. Wednesdays in the First United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall, 301 Church St. in Sulphur Springs. Service has been suspended until further notice due to public health concerns. For more information, call 903-885-2185.

Friday

• Community Chest ReachOut counselors will be at Peerless Assembly of God at The Bunkhouse, 422 Spur 71 in Peerless, 10 a.m. to noon and at Sulphur Bluff United Methodist Church, FM 71 at FM 69 north in Sulphur Bluff, 1-3 p.m. the fourth Friday of each month to assist people seeking help with bills, and cost of eye and dental exams. Enrollment into Christian Alliance Food Pantry and emergency food available. No appointment is necessary. Call HCCC at 903-885-3452 for more details. Rides to ReachOut sites are free from TRAX; call 844-437-7497 24 hours in advance to schedule pick-up.

• Men’s Coffee Fellowship will be held at 8:30 a.m. Fridays at First Baptist Church, 116 Oak Ave. in Sulphur Springs. All men are invited; FBC membership not required to attend. Use the rear entrance. For more information, call Don at 903-439-2975.

• Christian Recovery Group meets Fridays at 7 p.m. at New Beginnings Fellowship Baptist Church, 155 North Jackson St. in Sulphur Springs, for anyone with addictions, broken emotions or broken relationships. For more information, call the church office at 903-885- 0624 during regular business hours, 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday-Friday.
