Lampp, White approved for Civic Center Board of Directors
Sulphur Springs ISD school board gathered at the SSISD administration building for their monthly board meeting, with several action items on the agenda.
HEAD START
Head Start policy council bylaws, community assessment update, headstart annual report (2019-2020) and CARES Act funds spending plan were all approved by the board.
DISTRICT REPRESENTATIVES
SSISD approved two representatives for the Hopkins County Civic Center Board of Directors for the district. Tawlene Lampp for the term of Jan. 1, 2021 through Dec. 31, 2023, and Bryan White for the term of Jan. 2021 through Dec. 31, 2022.
PERSONNEL
Personnel changes were approved for three staff members at the meeting.
Retiring is Mike Mabe, SSISD maintenance worker.
New staff is Carolyn Grafton, secretary at Travis Primary.
Staff changes include Jessica Arnold, at-risk aide from special education aide at Sulphur Springs Middle School.
A 2020-2021 agreement between Sulphur Springs Country Club and Sulphur Springs ISD was also approved, as well campus and district improvement plans.
