Jail transfers, other activity

Laurie Ann Jordan, 49, was arrested at the Terrell State Hospital and transported to the Hopkins County jail Wednesday on a Hopkins County bench warrant for possession of less than 1 gram of a Penalty Group 1 controlled substance. She remained in custody as of Friday, according to arrest and jail reports.

Billy Thomas Burke, Jr., 24, of Quitman was arrested at the Upshur County Jail and transported to the Hopkins County jail Wednesday on a Hopkins County bench warrant for bail jumping and failure to appear on a 2014 charge of theft of property $750-$2,500. Bond was set at $5,000, and Burke remained in custody as of Friday, according to arrest and jail reports.

Tito Alamilla-Hernandez, 33, of Lewisville was released from jail Wednesday on a $20,000 bond. He was booked in Aug. 19 on a Rockwall County charge of driving while intoxicated third or more offense, according to jail reports.

Harry Cleatis Coleman III, 40, of Mount Pleasant was released from jail Wednesday on a $43,000 bond. He was booked in Aug. 15 on two charges of possession of 1-4 grams of a Penalty Group 1 controlled substance and two counts of criminal trespass, according to jail reports. Gayle Lynn Walker, 55, of Como was released from jail Wednesday on a $25,000 bond. She was booked in Tuesday on a charge of possession of 4-200 grams of a Penalty Group 1 controlled substance, according to jail reports.

Jessica Nicole Allen, 31, of Paris was arrested at the Lamar County Jail and transported to the Hopkins County jail Thursday on a charge of felony possession of 1-4 grams of a Penalty Group 1 controlled substance. Bond was denied, according to arrest and jail reports.

A 24-year-old Greenville man was arrested at the Hunt County Jail and transported to the Hopkins County jail on a warrant for a probation violation on a 2018 misdemeanor charge of driving while intoxicated with an open container. Bond was set at $2,000, and he remained in custody as of Friday, according to arrest and jail reports.

Curtis Edwin Wilson, 53, of Greenville was arrested at the Hunt County Jail and transported to the Hopkins County jail on a warrant for a probation violation on a 2017 charge of tampering with or fabricating physical evidence with intent to impair an investigation. Bond was denied and Wilson remained in jail as of Friday, according to arrest and jail reports.

• A man was reportedly bitten by a rattlesnake at 5:47 p.m. Wednesday;

• Twenty-three cows out on FM 1567 at 7:57 p.m. Wednesday;

• White cow on FM 2948 at FM 1567 east at 6:13 a.m. Thursday; and

• A woman on County Road 1179 reported someone tried to take her dog at 5:25 p.m. Thursday.
