The following reports are based on arrests conducted with reports filed by Sulphur Springs and Hopkins County law enforcement from 5:30 a.m. Thursday to 7 a.m. Tuesday and included:

Alcohol-related arrests

• A Winnsboro woman, 21, was arrested 1:08 a.m. Friday on a charge of public intoxication. No bond was set.

• A Sulphur Springs woman, 57, was arrested 12:25 a.m. Sunday on a charge of driving while intoxicated, first offense. According to reports, the woman was heading back from her sister’s house and allegedly admitted to having one and a half beers. No bond was set.

Drug-related arrests

• Colton Logan, 30, of Cookville, Texas was arrested 9:01 p.m. Saturday on charges of possession of less 1 gram a penalty group 1 controlled substance and unlawful carrying of a weapon. The officer reportedly pulled Logan over for a traffic violation, and Logan allegedly showed signs of nervousness. According to reports, the officer observed a rifle sitting in the passenger seat and requested Logan step out of the vehicle. At the point, reports read, Logan “became deceptive about his criminal history.” K-9 partner Maly reportedly indicated the presence of narcotics, and a probable search located methamphetamine under the driver’s seat, according to reports. No bond was set.

Transfers, warrants and other activity

• Jayson White, 39, of Cartersville, Ga. was arrested 9:30 a.m. Friday on a Georgia warrant for child molestation and impersonating an officer. He located at his place of work. No bond was set.

• A Sulphur Springs man, 22, was arrested 9:29 p.m. Friday on a charge of criminal trespass. According to reports, the man had a previous criminal trespass at the same location. No bond was set.

• Santara Perez, 27, of Sulphur Springs was arrested 2:33 a.m. Saturday on a Cooke County warrant for abandoning or endangering a child. The officer responded to a disturbance and identified Perez, who the officer found to have an active warrant, according to reports. No bond was set.

• Christopher Reed, 48, of Tennessee was arrested 4 p.m. Saturday on a charge of theft of property between $100 and $750 and a FBI warrant for possession of obscene material. According to reports, Reed and a Virginia woman, 45, were involved in the theft. No bond was set.

• A Virginia woman, 45, was arrested 4 p.m. Saturday on a charge of theft of property between $100 and $750.

• A Sulphur Springs man, 35, was arrested 8:47 p.m. Monday on a charge of assault causing bodily injury to a household member. No bond was set.

Hopkins County communications operators answered 994 non-emergency phone calls, 208 calls for service and 176 emergency calls. From 5:30 a.m. Thursday to 7 a.m. Tuesday, officers filed two offenses and conducted eight special patrols, three funeral escort and 58 traffic stops. Ten people were booked in and 12 people were released from the Hopkins County Jail which held 165 inmates as of 5:30 a.m. Tuesday.
