The following reports are based on arrests conducted with reports filed by Sulphur Springs and Hopkins County law enforcement from 5:30 a.m. Wednesday to 7 a.m. Friday and included:
Alcohol-related arrests
■ 43-year-old Phillip Wilson of Dallas was arrested Feb.10 at 2:21 p.m. for driving while intoxicated (third offense or more). No bond was set.
■ A 40-year-old Sulphur Springs man was arrested Feb. 11 for public intoxication. No bond was set.
Drug-related arrests
■ A 21-year-old Sulphur Springs man was arrested Feb. 10 for violation of probation - possession of marijuana less than two ounces. Bond was set at $2,000.
■ Keith Ali, 57, of Frisco, Texas, was arrested Feb. 9 for one count of possession of a penalty group 1 controlled substance greater than four grams and less than 200 grams in a drug free zone, possession of a penalty group 1 controlled substance greater than one gram and less than four grams in a drug free zone, possession of a penalty group 1 controlled substance less than one gram in a drug free zone, possession of a penalty group 2 controlled substance greater than four grams but less than 400 in a drug free zone, possession of marijuana greater than two ounces but less than four ounces in a drug free zone and unlawfully carrying a weapon. No bond was set.
■ A 27-year-old Sierra Vista, Arizona woman was arrested Feb. 11 for possession of drug paraphernalia. No bond was set.
■ Jessica Smith, 37, of Sulphur Springs was arrested Feb. 11 for possession of a penalty group 1 controlled substance, greater than or equal to one gram, less than four grams. No bond was set.
Warrants, transfers and other activity
■ 34-year-old Kyle Greenlee of Gun Barrel City, Texas was arrested Feb. 9 for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. No bond was set.
■ 40-year-old Phillip Gibson of Sulphur Springs was arrested Feb. 10 for violation of probation - tampering with/ fabricate physical evidence. Bond was denied.
■ Mary Walker, 26, of Sulphur Springs, was arrested Feb. 10 for abandoning/endangering child - criminal negligence. No bond was set.
■ A 35-year-old Como man was arrested Feb. 12 for having no driver’s license. No bond was set.
Hopkins County communications operators answered 863 non-emergency phone calls, 112 emergency calls and 179 calls for service. As of 5:30 a.m. Tuesday, the county jail held 170 inmates.
