The following reports are based on arrests conducted with reports filed by Sulphur Springs and Hopkins County law enforcement from 5:30 a.m. Tuesday to 7 a.m. Friday and included:

Alcohol-related arrests

None were reported.

Drug-related arrests

■ A Sulphur Springs man, 17, was arrested on a charge of possession of more than one gram of controlled substance, penalty group 2. The offcer allegedly “observed [the subject] to be extremely nervous and shaking” and reportedly found a dab pen containing THC on the man’s body during a search. No bond was set.

■ A Sulphur Springs woman, 36, was arrested on warrant for tampering with physical evidence with intent to impair and a charge of possession of less than one gram of a controlled substance, penalty group 1. When deputies served the warrant at the woman’s residence, they reportedly found a glass pipe commonly used to smoke methamphetamine and alleged baggies of crystal-like substance that reportedly field-tested for methamphetamine. No bond was set.

Miscellaneous arrests

■ A 25-year-old Sulphur Springs woman was arrested and issued a criminal trespass at 7:25 p.m. at Walmart on Wednesday. No bond was set.

■ A 55-year-old Royse City woman was booked on charges of theft of property between $100 and $750 at 1:16 p.m. on Thursday in the 300 block of Helm Lane. Bond was set at $750.

■ A 42-year-old Detroit man was arrested for alleged theft of property between $100 and $750 at 8:28 p.m. at Walmart on Thursday. No bond was set.

Transfers, warrants and releases

■ A Little Rock, Ark. man, 32, was arrested on a Hopkins County warrant for possession of a controlled substance, penalty group 1, and an Arkansas warrant for manufacture of controlled substance. Bond was set at $60,000.

■ A Winfield, Texas man, 38, was arrested on warrants for violation of probation of possession of less than one gram of a controlled substance, penalty group 1. No bond was set.

■ Kayla Nicole Williams, 41, of Sulphur Springs, was arrested on an outstanding warrant of possession of a firearm by a felon at 6:22 p.m. Wednesday in the 1000 block of Mulberry Street. No bond was set.

■ A 26-year-old Cumby man was issued a violation of probation for a previous DWI charge at 10:49 p.m. in the 2000 block of Farm Road 275 North on Wednesday. Bond was set at $5000.

■ Ruthie Darlene Gipson, 49, of New Boston was issued a violation of probation for a previous charge of felony possession of a schedule one controlled substance less than one gram at 10:33 a.m. Wednesday at the Hopkins County Adult Probation Offces. Bond was denied.

■ Jessica Guadarrama, 26, of Sulphur Springs was issued a violation of probation on previous charges of forgery and issued a new charge of no driver’s license at 2:17 p.m. Thursday in the 100 block of North Hillcrest Drive. Bond was not set.

■ A 48-year-old Sulphur Springs man was issued a violation of probation on a previous charge of assault causes family violence at 6:13 p.m. on Thursday in the 500 block of Church Street. Bond was not set.

■ Harry Cleatis Coleman III, 41, of Mount Pleasant, was issued a violation of probation for a previous charge of felony possession of a schedule one controlled substance less than one gram and transported from the Guadalupe County Jail to Hopkins County. Bond was denied.

Hopkins County communications operators answered 609 non-emergency calls and 103 emergency calls. Offcers filed four offenses, conducted no funeral escorts and 49 traffc stops, and established one special patrol. Fourteen people were booked into and seven released from county jail, which held 203 inmates at 5:30 a.m. Friday.
