The following reports are based on arrests conducted with reports filed by Sulphur Springs and Hopkins County law enforcement from 5:30 a.m. Wednesday to 7 a.m. Friday and included:

Arrests on drugrelated charges

• Earnest Martin Crawford IV, 26, of Cleveland, Ohio was arrested at 7:30 a.m. Thursday during a traffic stop on Interstate 30 west at mile marker 133. Crawford was reportedly stopped for traffic violations. The deputy allegedly observed loose marijuana in the vehicle and obtained consent to search it. He also reportedly located a small amount of marijuana and a single Ecstasy tablet in the center console, as well as an AR-15 rifle in a black nylon case in the trunk. Records showed Crawford was a convicted felon. He was charged with unlawful possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and possession of less than 1 gram of a Penalty Group 2 controlled substance. Bond was set at $65,000, and Crawford remained in custody as of press time Friday.

Transfers, warrants and other activity

• Alejandro Gamez, 29, of Longview was arrested at 3:48 p.m. Wednesday at the Smith County jail and transported to Hopkins County on warrants for bond forfeiture on a charge of bail jumping and possession of less than 1 gram of a Penalty Group 1 controlled substance. Bond was set at $90,000 cash only, and Gamez remained in custody as of press time Friday.

• Eric Lynn Johnson, 31, of Kilgore was arrested at 3:48 p.m. Wednesday at the Smith County jail and transported to Hopkins County on a probation violation warrant for theft of property $1,500-$20,000 enhanced. Bond was denied, and Johnson remained in custody as of press time Friday.

• Jenny Lynn Derrick, 41, of Texarkana was arrested at 6:28 p.m. Wednesday at the Bowie County jail and transported to Hopkins County on on a probation violation warrant for theft of property $500-$1,500 enhanced. Bond was denied, and Derrick remained in custody as of press time Friday.

• Odis Clint Farrar, 43, of Ponder was arrested at a County Road 2307 residence at 7:11 p.m. Wednesday on a charge of unauthorized use of a vehicle. Officers were reportedly informed that Farrar allegedly took a black Ford F-150 from a Sulphur Springs convenience store without the owner‚Äôs permission. Farrar reportedly crashed the vehicle and attempted to walk away but was confronted by and allegedly spoke with a witness who then contacted the Hopkins County Sheriff’s Office regarding the crash. Bond was set at $5,000, and Farrar remained in custody as of press time Friday.

• Raekwon Desean Gasaway, 18, of Sulphur Springs was arrested at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Hopkins County jail for a commitment in an Intermediate Sanction Facility (ISF) program on a September 2019 charge of theft of a firearm.

• Wesley Allen Bingham, 52, of Winnsboro was released from the Hopkins County jail Wednesday on a $10,000 bond. He was booked in Nov. 9, 2019 on a charge of theft of material (aluminum/bronze/copper/brass).

• Daishawn Jerome Godbolt, 17, of Sulphur Springs was released from the Hopkins County jail Wednesday on a $30,000 bond. He was booked in Dec. 3, 2019 on a charge of engaging in organized criminal activity. • Rachelle Denise Ford Madi

• Rachelle Denise Ford Madison, 51, of Sulphur Springs was released from the Hopkins County jail Wednesday on a $10,000 bond. She was booked in Dec. 1, 2019 on a charge of tampering with or fabricating physical evidence with intent to impair an investigation.

• Karizma Renea Miller, 18, of Sulphur Springs was released from the Hopkins County jail Wednesday on a $100,000 bond. She was booked in Dec. 24, 2019 on a charge of fraudulent use or possession of identifying information 50 or more items.

• Dustin Wayne Wren, 20, of Sulphur Springs was released from the Hopkins County jail Wednesday on a $175,000 bond. He was booked in Oct. 22, 2019 on multiple charges of possession of a Penalty Group 1 controlled substance in a drug-free zone.

• Anthony Joseph Pease, 33, of Cooper was arrested at a Church Street residence at 5:36 p.m. Thursday on a warrant for possession of 1-4 grams of a Penalty Group 1 controlled substance. Bond was denied, and Pease remained in custody as of press time Friday. • Julian Kesten Freeman Jr., 38,

• Julian Kesten Freeman Jr., 38, of Sulphur Springs was released from jail Thursday on a $200,000 bond. He was booked in Jan. 13 on two counts of possession of child pornography with intent to promote.

• Chanin Ardwon Holiness, 17, of Sulphur Springs was released from jail Thursday on a $15,000 bond. He was booked in Jan. 20 on charges of engaging in organized criminal activity and no driver’s license when unlicensed (not CDL).

• Christopher L. Lewis. 42, of Paris was released from jail Thursday on a $54,000 bond. He was booked in March 14 on charges of assault causing bodily injury and bond warrants for criminal trespass and burglary of a habitation.

• Amber Nicole Sims, 31, of Paris was released from jail Thursday on a $104,000 bond. She was booked in Jan. 13 on charges of failing to identify as a fugitive by giving false information, a bond warrant for fraudulent use or possession of identifying information and two counts of orga nized retail theft $750-$2,500.

• Cameron Joel Wilks, 27, of Sulphur Springs was released from jail Thursday on a $30,000 bond. He was booked in Feb. 23 on charges of burglary of a habitation and a probation violation on a charge of tampering with or fabricating physical evidence with intent to impair an investigation.

Animal complaints

• Forty-four black Angus cows missing from a property on FM 71 west near County Road 4777 at 8:27 p.m. Wednesday;

• Very small black Angus cow out on Interstate 30 east at mile marker 116 at 7:12 p.m. Wednesday;

• Black cow with horns out on Interstate 30 westbound service road at 8:42 p.m. Wednesday;

• White calf out on CFM 1567 at County Road 1149 at 8:44 a.m. Thursday;

• Cow with its head stuck in a fence on State Highway 67 business at County Road 1182 at 12:15 p.m. Thursday;

• Cows out on County Road 1112 in Brashear at 2:39 p.m. Thursday; and

• Black cow out near Interstate 30 east at mile marker 140 at 5:57 p.m. Thursday.
