Arbala VFD to hold fundraiser for training

Arbala Volunteer Fire Department is hoping to raise money through a bake sale so they can send two members to training. Happening this Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Atwoods in Sulphur Springs, the VFD looks to raise a total of $850 for members Christy Fairchild and Jeff Bloodgood to attend Safe-D training. “We’re a proactive department, and we’re doing everything it takes to give the citizens the best effective service they deserve,” Chief Brian Fairchild stated.
