AgriLife Extension donates to Community Chest Food Bank

The Hopkins County AgriLife Extension Office donated 945 pounds of food to the Community Chest Food Bank. The food was gathered in five days by local Master Gardeners and 4-H families, according to Extension Agent Johanna Hicks (pictured). Pantry Executive Director Judy Moore thanked AgriLife for their donation. “It’s been hard,” she said. “The food bank has stayed open during the entire pandemic because of dedicated staff and a few dedicated volunteers.”
