Guest speaker Tim Roosenberg will present “Islam and Christianity in Prophecy” at the Mount Pleasant 7th Day Adventist Church, 302 Lakewood Dr. in Mount Pleasant. Originally scheduled for Friday, March 27-Sunday, April 5, the seminar has been postponed until September 11-20 at 7 p.m., according to a statement released Tuesday.
Roosenberg will discuss chapters 11 and 12 of the book of Daniel to “unveil [sic] a new study of Bible prophecy that demonstrates that God’s Word is not silent regarding Islam and Christianity,” according to a statement from the church.?“It is understood that the subject matter is volatile, so we promise to be respectful to those from all backgrounds and ask that guests/participants respect others as well,” the church stated. “Christians, Muslims and others have attended and appreciated this seminar.”
Roosenberg was a pastor for many years before becoming a full-time seminar speaker. He has studied prophecy for 30-plus years. Roosenberg said he is passionate about the Bible being the authority for life and teaching for Christians.
