Larry Smith, currently of Emory and formerly of Sulphur Springs and Cumby, was born Feb. 11, 1945 in Dallas and celebrates his 75th birthday today. A retired postal worker, Smith is a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and is involved in Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association. He celebrated with his immediate family, including wife Carolyn and his children and stepchildren with a lunch of his favorite Tex-Mex Sunday afternoon.
