  • STATE HONORS — The Sulphur Springs High School marching band set a school record by finishing fourth in the UIL Class 4A competition held in San Antonio. It was the first year for the SSHS band to make the state finals and compete in the Alamodome. The band can go after a state title in 2023 if they qualify for the finals. Staff photos by Don Wallace
