2020 UPRA Finals end with big wins

The United Professional Rodeo Association CINCH Finals wrapped up Saturday night after three nights of rodeo action with some winning over $4,000 in their events.

In the bareback riding average, Tyler Griffen tied with Zach Hibler for first place with scores of 239.5. Lucas Creasy came in third place with a score of 235.

For the barrel racing event average, Sadie Wolaver had a time of 43.001 seconds for a first place finish. Katelyn Scott came in second with a time of 43.424, and Abby Pursifull landed third with a time of 43.624.

In the average for the breakaway roping event, Kelsie Chace came in first with a time of 6.5 seconds, and Hope Thompson claimed second with a time of 6.840 seconds.

In the bull-riding average, Joao Augusto came in first with a score of 166 while second-place finisher Dawson Gleaves had a score of 158. Tyler Kipps finished in third with a score of 83.

Tanner Green took first in the calf-roping average with a time of 25.250 seconds, and Shane Hanchey finished second with a time of 25.460. Trent McDonald claimed third with a time of 25.620.

In the ranch bronc riding average, Dillon Kirkland landed first with a score of 218 while Trevor McCaslin claimed second with an unknown score. Third was Thomas Moellering with a score of 154.

In saddle bronc riding, Parker Fleet claimed first with a score of 236.5, and second-place finisher Jacobs Crawley had a score of 229. Clint Lindenfield won third with a score of 224.

For the average in steer wrestling, Don Payne won first with a time of 12.8 seconds while Landris White took second with a time of 13.2 seconds. Third was Gavin Soileau with a time of 13.500 seconds.
