  • Beat the Heat, billed as “the world’s fastest police car,” took home the Best of Show prize at the 14th annual Heritage Car Show, held Saturday at Celebration Plaza. The 1985 Chevrolet Camaro pro mod was built by the Shelby Institute. It’s raced for Shriner’s Hospital by Susie Dunn and maintained by her husband, Buddy, who live in Shreveport.
