CANHelp, a local non-profit, is currently holding registration for their annual back-to-school fair. According to their Facebook page, the non-profit is partnering with CPI Imaging to hold the event on Aug. 9 from 3 to 6 p.m. at the Hopkins County Regional Civic Center.

The fair offers a number of free services to those who register. Available to kids are backpacks and school supplies, dental screenings and fluoride applications, school physicals, vision screenings and haircuts.

Available for the whole family are immunizations as well as food and fun.

To be able to attend, CANHelp asks participants to register. Registration began July 1 and is ongoing. Parents should bring a valid photo ID and/or proof of guardianship if they are not the child’s parent.

They should also bring a piece of mail or other proof that they reside in Hopkins County and documentation that the child is enrolled in school or daycare, such as a report card or letter from the school. Any of these documents can be in electronic format.

To register for CAN-Help’s 2019 Hopkins County Back to School Fair visit their offices at 613 Gilmer St. in Sulphur Springs, 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Monday-Friday.
