The 2018 Walk for Freedom took place Saturday, Oct. 20, in downtown Sulphur Springs to bring awareness to the problem of human trafficking. The local event was organized by Carrie Nuckolls and is operated by a global anti-human trafficking organization, A21.

“A Walk to Remember” campaign to benefit Teriffic Tuesdays hosted three mini walks  at Sulphur Springs Health & Rehab, Teriffic Tuesdays at First Methodist Church and a third at Wesley House Assisted Living as the build-up to the big walk that took place Saturday, Oct. 6.
