At 7:23 p.m. on Tuesday Sheriff’s deputy Shaw allegedly found a 26-year-old Leesburg man not only with prescription medication that did not belong to him, but also a container of urine that wasn’t his, according to reports.

After pulling over Matthew Christopher Jaeger for a license plate violation in Como, Shaw noted Jaeger “appeared to be nervous and advised he was driving without a license,” the report said.

Shaw performed a search of Jaeger’s truck and allegedly located, “a container containing urine,” which Jaeger said he “used… to pass a drug test at work,” according to reports.

Shaw further located 10 alprazolam tablets which were not prescribed to Jaeger, the report said, as well as ranitidine hydrochloride. Alprazolam is better known as the brand name Xanax, and ranitidine is better known as the heartburn medication Zantac.

According to the report, Jaeger advised he “stole the alprazolam from a family member.” According to county records Jaeger remains in jail on $3000 bonds for possession of a schedule 3 controlled substance less than 28 grams, and falsification of a drug testing device.
