Letter to the Editor
Dear Editor:
Recently, I found myself needing medical attention I entered the emergency room at Christus Mother Frances Hospital in SULPHUR Springs, Texas. The medical staff quickly moved me to the surgery room, and I received minor surgery. When I entered this fin facility, I noticed how ultra clean this hospital is.
While in my private room (All rooms are private.), all third floor staff members that came into contact with me identified themselves and informed me as to the reason for their visit, all asked me if they could do anything further to make me more comfortable. (My wife doesn’t treat me as well.)
Their retired firefighter is a gourmet cook. For 35 years, I have rated restaurants all across the United States (one to five stars, five being outstanding). The highest rating I have ever awarded is there stars, mostly to outstanding restaurants in California and New York. During my stay, all meals served to me made my taste buds dance. Outstanding food. I understand that the hospital prepares their meals from scratch, and it shows. For the very first time ever, I am awarding five stars for the fantastic meals prepared and served to their patients.
About an hour before I was discharged, a gentleman entered my room and identified himself as Paul Harvey, CEO of the hospital. Mr. Harvey wished to now how I was treated. Imagine, the guy that is solely responsible towards the daily operation of this big, fine medical facility was interested in my medical care. No doubt, I praised this hospital.
We are very fortunate,
Frank Wyman
