Panthers keep district record spotless

Jan. 12, 2008 - BIRTHRIGHT - The North Hopkins Panthers improved to 15-7 on the year and 2-0 in District 18-A with a 51-40 win over Cumby Thursday night.

Roger Sancho and Jy'Darius Hawkins each scored a team-high 14 points for the Panthers.

North Hopkins held a 18-6 lead after the first quarter, a 28-15 lead at the intermission and a 43-lead after three quarters.

Kris Stanford led Cumby with 18 points.

The Panthers will face Yantis on Tuesday, while Cumby has an open date in the district schedule.
