Sulphur Springs seventh-grade girls win first place

Mar. 10, 2007 - WILLS POINT - The Sulphur Springs seventh-grade girls brought home a first-place team finish from the Wills Point track and field meet last week, while the eighth-graders finished second in their division.
For the eighth-graders, T'Kea Johnson won the shot put, Melissa Phillips finished first in the 100 hurdles and Bradyn Burney won medals in all five events she entered.
For the seventh-graders, Ayana Taylor wracked up two individual golds and two relay golds, Abby Grand-Lienard won four medals and Lori Baldridge placed first in two distance events.
